President and saviour of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, has been getting rather chummy with Russian President and buff outdoorsman, Vladimir Putin, as of late. But it seems like the two men have been shooting the breeze about more than just military and economic ties between the two countries, as images have emerged of the boner-inducing Putinkinis.

Not dissimilar to the general mood in Egypt following the ouster of Morsi, Russia has experienced a sweeping new wave of patriotism that has begun to translate onto the most ludicrous of platforms - not least bikinis with Putin's face on them.

This is nothing new to us, though, after a spade of Sisi merchandise begun to appear on the streets of Cairo in and around this year's presidential elections - everything from your standard posters, to pyjamas.

The photos were taken on a Crimean beach and many have dismissed the stunt as a cheap propaganda device as tensions continue to grow between Russia and Ukraine.

As for Putin and Sisi, well, this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.
