What started as a school hobby has grown into something far more powerful. From a school hobby to a growing movement, one young coach is redefining cheerleading in Egypt, creating a safe, empowering space where girls can thrive.
Where It All Began

Every journey starts somewhere, and this one started young. Farah Rabie, the founder and owner of Elite Cheer Academy, discovered cheerleading at a young age through her school, one of the few in Egypt to offer the sport at the time. What began as a fun extracurricular activity quickly turned into a deep passion. By the age of 15, she had already stepped into a coaching role, helping younger students fall in love with cheerleading just as she had.
A Legacy in Motion
Some beginnings leave a lasting impact. Even after graduating, Farah’s impact remained. The school team she once coached is still active today, a testament to the foundation she helped build. What started unintentionally became a lasting legacy, inspiring more girls to explore the sport.
Taking It to University

While studying architecture at the American University in Cairo, Farah found it difficult to continue training. Instead of stepping away, she introduced cheerleading to her university. With strong support, her team trained for two years before earning the opportunity to compete internationally, marking Egypt’s first participation in a global cheerleading competition.
From Vision to Reality
Following that milestone, Farah launched her academy, driven by the positive impact she witnessed on her team. She believed every girl deserved the chance to experience that same sense of belonging, growth, and joy.
Inside the Training Experience
More than routines, it is a full athletic journey. The training programme combines choreography, stunting (acrobatic lifts), and tumbling, alongside strength and flexibility exercises. The goal is to create well-rounded athletes while keeping sessions engaging and dynamic.
More Than Just a Sport

This is where confidence is built, not just skills. Beyond physical training, the academy focuses on building confidence and character. Girls are encouraged to embrace themselves without conforming to specific body standards. Discipline, teamwork, leadership, and communication are all core values embedded into the experience.
Flexible and Accessible
Options that work around you, not the other way around. The academy offers flexible options, including single sessions and monthly or extended packages (3, 6, or 9 months). A trial session costs 350 EGP, while walk-ins are 450 EGP. Discounts are available for those who join with friends, making the experience more accessible and community-driven.
A Safe Space to Grow
Perhaps the academy’s most defining feature is its environment. Designed as a safe, supportive space for women, it prioritises emotional well-being just as much as physical progress. Internal competitions and monthly assessments help students grow at their own pace while celebrating achievements together.
Built by Women, for Women
At its heart, it is all about community. While at its core, the academy is about connection, empowerment, and joy. Farah’s mission goes beyond coaching; she is building a community where girls uplift one another, grow together, and leave every session feeling stronger, happier, and more confident.
