If you have anyone in your life who’s a Pisces, then you already know you’re getting a lot of love out of them—even maybe sometimes a little too much love. This goes for both platonic friendships and romantic relationships. Why? Well, because this specific sign is all about love and loyalty. As the last of the water sign, and indeed the final sign in the constellations, Pisceans are sensitive and will show you that in the tiniest of details, including the small things they do for you.
A fun fact about Pisces is that this sign is symbolised by two fish tied together by their tails, representing the Greek gods Aphrodite and Eros when they jumped into a lake to escape the monster Typhon. Romantic, isn’t it? Just like everything about this sign is!
In honour of Pisces season, how about we get to know this sign just a little more?
Pisces (Feb 19th - March 20th)
We already mentioned how romantic and sensitive Pisceans are, but we also need to talk about how empathetic and compassionate they are too. This usually leads them to have a lot of stability and comfort in their lives and how they approach their problems.
Although Pisces may be overly sensitive at times (a major turn-off to some, we know), they make up for that by knowing how to ‘feel’ their feelings to the fullest, not holding them up on the inside. People of this sign also tend to be very kind and gentle, which says a lot about their romantic sides. They’re artists and dreamers who can be extremely indecisive—as well as super needy and sometimes clingy. Then again, doesn’t this make sense when they’re as sensitive as we mentioned before?
One surprising thing about our little dreamers, though, is that they tend to be a tad pessimistic at times.

What signs are Pisceans compatible with?
Pisces is most compatible with other water signs, which makes sense as other water signs will know how to accept those heavy-set Pisces emotions and feel just as sensitively too. As a result, they can make great friends and even greater partners as all sensitive people tend to be equally emotional and understand each other far better than anyone else can.
Another great match for Pisces is any earth sign because earth signs tend to be very grounded, down to earth, and chill enough to tone down the overall sensitivity of a water sign like Pisces. As a bonus, a duo like that can have a very healthy relationship!
Celebs who are Pisces.
It’s time to see who else shares this Pisces sign, right? As a warning, though, let us just tell you that some of these celebrities are outgoing, a little loud, and EXTREMELY powerful. Just like a Pisces should be, right?
“Queen” Rihanna (20 Feb)
Riri (AKA Robyn Rihanna Fenty) was born at the very beginning of Pisces season, which makes total sense. This artist isn’t just influential—she’s one of the most successful businesswomen in the world. Although she does not seem like the sensitive type, we can still see her express her emotions in her songs. We admire her so much, it “must be love on our our brains!”
Ahmed El-Sakka (1 Mar)
This might be the most shocking person that we discovered is a Piscean. Ahmed El-Sakka may be known because of his rapid-fire talking, straightforward, macho personality, but the actor IS very sensitive too. Even within his action-heavy movie career, El-Sakka has shown that side of him perfectly.
Justin Bieber (1 Mar)
What can we say? Justin Bieber is a pure Pisces, which we can all obviously see in his songs. The singer is also considered to be one of the most famous artists of his time, and we love him for revamping the game.
Adam Levine (18 Mar)
Maroon 5 is a band composed of icons of pop! Not only did they give us (and are still giving us) the greatest hits of all time, they also blessed us with Adam Levine and his vocals—think of it like listening to angels, and you’ll get it. So maybe it makes sense that this singer is a Pisces, right?
Here’s an extra fun fact: The Tarot card for Pisces is The Moon, which relies on instinct and intuition. And that’s exactly what this sign has!
