Sergio Ramos: Egypt, You Will Always Have a Piece of My Heart

Today, we stumbled on a very heartwarming caption by the famed footballer Sergio Ramos’ Instagram account bidding Egypt farewell.

Unless you’ve been sleeping under a rock, you probably know that Ramos flew into Hurghada last Tuesday night to spend a family vacation after he recently got married to his girlfriend, Pilar Rubio. If you’re following the Real Madrid player on Instagram, then you probably saw his daily stories and posts enjoying our beautiful country. From water slides to the special Egyptian Zaffa, no wonder he had fun!

“One of the best trips ever. Now, I know why everyone speaks so highly of Egypt and its people,” Ramos wrote on Instagram. “Egypt, you will always have a piece of my heart. It was an incredible experience.”

Ramos also gave a shout out to Kamel Abu Aly, the Head of Tourism Investment Association in Hurghada saying, “And my dear Kamel, I didn’t know you personally when we first arrived, but now I can safely say I have met a friend. My family and I want to thank you for your generosity, kindness, and hospitality.”
