Success after success, and he’s still as humble as anybody can be! Mohamed Salah has made us all proud once again as he was crowned as the Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) for 2017-18.
Egyptians left whatever they were doing yesterday and gathered, proud and happy, to watch the king receive his trophy in the 45th PFA Award in London. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and every other social media was filled with Salah’s photos. Chants of support were raining down on Salah from every corner of this world, and Egyptians, as always, couldn’t miss an opportunity to be filled with pride from this young man’s achievements.
Salah is the first Egyptian ever to win the PFA player of the year, with a total of 41 goals so far this season. Not just that, he has also topped Robbie Fowler’s left footed goals tally recently, and is on the very edge of winning the golden boot as well.
His Liverpool team-mates supported him with all their hearts via Twitter. They love him, we love him, and everybody else seems to do too.
