Most of you ladies out there spend huge amounts of money on cosmetics to highlight your beauty. The problem is not only that these products are expensive, but also that many are made with chemicals that may harm your skin.
This is one of the main reasons behind the dark circles under your eyes and the spread of dark spots on your face. This is why homemade makeup should come to mind. Here are five makeup recipes, made from natural ingredients, containing vitamins that’ll nourish, soften, and leave your skin glowing.
#1 Eyeliner
Add 2 tsp of coconut oil to 4 tsp of aloe vera gel and 1-2 capsules of activated charcoal, and voilà. Store your mixture in an airtight container and make sure to place it in a cool place, so it doesn’t melt.
#2 Blusher
Mix 2 tbsp of beet powder with 1 tbsp of arrowroot powder and a bit of shimmer to make your DIY blusher. Make sure all the dry ingredients are well blended, then add 3-5 drops of any essential oil to make it stick, then place it in a clean container.
#3 Lipgloss
To make a shiny lipgloss, you need 2 tbsp of organic white beeswax pastilles, 2 tbsp of jojoba oil, 2 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp of olive oil, and a reusable lip gloss container.
Add 2 inches of water to a small pot and leave it to boil. Meanwhile, mix all the ingredients into a metal bowl, then place it over the simmering water until it melts. Let the mixture cool down completely, then put it in the container.
#4 Bronzer
Bronzers are always super expensive! But you can make this one at home with extremely affordable ingredients. The ingredients you’ll need are 2 tbsp of cinnamon powder and 3 tsp of cornstarch (maybe more or less, depending on how dark you want the powder to be). Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl, then add a few drops of lavender oil. Empty your old blusher case and clean it thoroughly, then place the mixture in it.
#5 Natural Makeup Remover
Just mix some olive oil with half a cup of aloe vera gel, and there you go. Coconut oil also works like magic as a makeup remover.
