Two days ago, we stumbled upon a video posted by Beautiful Destinations media company. The documentary was depicting the inner beauty of our beloved Egypt. We could see our mesmerizing sandy deserts, the Nile’s pure water, and our famed cup of tea.
We’re so thrilled this documentary finally came to light, since we heard of the partnership between Beautiful Destinations and Egypt’s Ministry of tourism, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it.
In the documentary, We see our country in a new light through its people, history, and heritage. And this is exactly the main purpose of the People to People in the first place, to let everyone see the fascinating beauty of Egypt, and encourage others to visit it.
We can also see many of the charming places we love so much. These places include Alexandria, Luxor, Aswan, the White Desert, and many more. But we decided to dig deeper into this, so let us show you, shall we?
Beautiful Destinations, a London-based company with over 12 million followers on Instagram, teamed up with Egypt’s Tourism Minister Rania al-Mashat and Experience Egypt back in 2018 to launch the campaign. Jeremy Jaucey, CEO and founder of Beautiful Destinations, visited Egypt as part of the campaign, to unravel the hidden gems in such an amazing country.
“People to People is a campaign from our nation that invites the global community to connect human-to-human and experience Egypt’s dynamic, vibrant, and authentic culture,” Rania Al-Mashat wrote on her Instagram account.
“It is a timeless celebration of the Egyptian People. We are People of Pride, Passion, Peace, Positivity, Progress and Productivity. Together, let us show the world how our various destinations can transform travelers' experiences through connection, personalization and authenticity,” she continued saying in her post on Instagram.
Tourism in Egypt has been flourishing for quite some time, especially with many international singers visiting. The recent ones were Russ, Yanni, Tale of Us and Jennifer Lopez. There’s also Tamino, the Egyptian-Belgian singer, who will be performing for the first time in Egypt on the 12th of October.
