You know when you’re daydreaming about going to a concert to see your favourite international artist? When you finally get the chance, you suddenly find yourself over the moon. That’s exactly what happened with American rapper Vitale Russ’ fans when his concert in Egypt was announced. His fans flipped and rushed to get tickets. Last Friday was a dream come true for a lot of people, and we have to say, it was lit.

“It was insane. Everybody needs to go to a Russ concert once in their life at least. The energy was real,” fan Sara Abdullah said. He totally rocked the stage in New Alamein; fans were on fire, singing along to the lyrics.

Yesterday, the famed rapper posted a video on his Instagram account with a caption that read, “My first time ever in Egypt and the love was surreal, thank you Egypt.”

The video was amazing, and apparently it wasn’t only the fans who enjoyed this magnificent event; Russ enjoyed his visit so much, he has been posting pictures at the Pyramids, Khan El Khalili, and other places in our beloved country.

Cvents was the company behind this great event, and they undoubtedly succeeded in making it unforgettable. Cvents also pointed out that Egypt is the only MENA country on his summer tour. The superstar’s global tour includes other destinations like Honolulu, Melbourne, Sydney, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

The artist’s latest hit album, “There’s Really a Wolf”, made it to the fourth place on Billboard’s list of hip-hop and R&B. Also, his famed song, “Losin’ Control”, made it to the US Billboard’s Hot 100.

It’s also worth mentioning that Russ is not the only international artist we had the pleasure to host in our country this year. Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Yanni, among other A-listers held unforgettable concerts only this year. This August alone is star-studded already with Jennifer Lopez Performing next Friday, as well as Tale of Us, and Solomun later this month. Not only that, but Egyptian-Belgian singer Tamino-Amir will be performing for the first time in Egypt on the 12th of October. We can’t wait to see more international artists in Egypt.
