For many women, the perfect beach day isn't about a crowded party, an elaborate outfit, or finding the trendiest table in Sahel. It's simply about getting into the water comfortably, relaxing with friends, and spending a few hours without worrying about unwanted attention or cameras.

Women-only beaches create exactly that kind of space. Some visitors choose them for religious reasons, while others prefer the privacy, quieter atmosphere, or freedom of spending the day surrounded only by women. Summer 2026 brings back familiar favourites alongside organised girls-only beach experiences for anyone without a chalet or private beach access.

La Femme Ladies Beach

La Femme has been part of the North Coast summer scene for more than two decades, and its 2026 season comes with a new location in New Alamein, where it officially opened on 2 July. The concept is simple: women can swim, sunbathe, dance, and enjoy the day in a space designed around privacy. Changing rooms and showers are available, and the beach promotes itself as a fully women-only destination rather than a mixed beach with a ladies' section.

La Femme has long attracted everyone from groups of university friends to mothers visiting with their daughters and young children. Before heading there, it's worth checking ticket prices, child-entry policies, transport options, and whether advance booking is required.

Gitana Ladies Beach

Located at Bungalows North Coast around kilometre 73–74, Gitana offers another fully women-only escape. Its location makes it especially convenient for those staying in the eastern part of the North Coast rather than farther west around New Alamein or Marassi.

Gitana is all about a relaxed girls' beach day, with private swimming, music, seating areas, and space to unwind away from the usual mixed-beach crowds. Sometimes, that's exactly the kind of day you're looking for. The beach promotes a private environment, but it's still worth confirming details such as photography policies, available facilities, food options, lockers, showers, and whether boys below a certain age are permitted.

Al Yashmak Beach

Al Yashmak has long been associated with women-only beach experiences on the North Coast and appears in business listings with locations linked to Marina and Sidi Abdel Rahman. Although its name continues to appear in many ladies' beach guides, clear announcements for Summer 2026 are more limited. It's therefore a good idea to confirm which branch is operating, whether it remains fully women-only, and whether outside visitors can enter without owning or renting a chalet within the village.

Eve Ladies Beach

Eve Ladies Beach has traditionally operated from Marina 5, Zone 21, and continues to appear in North Coast business directories. It has long been promoted as a dedicated women-only destination offering private swimming and a relaxed atmosphere. Its current social media presence, however, is limited, so it's worth calling ahead to check whether it's operating for the 2026 season, if day-use tickets are available, and whether its women-only policy remains unchanged.

Hot Pink Ladies Beach

Following Amwaj's creations, Hot Pink has been promoted as a ladies-only beach inside it, located at Sidi Abdel Rahman. The concept centres around privacy, music, swimming, and a women-focused beach experience within one of Sahel's best-known destinations. Recent public updates have been limited, so it's worth checking whether the beach is operating this summer, if it's open to non-residents of Amwaj, and whether any gate access or identification requirements apply before making the trip.

Choosing the Right Beach

The first thing to consider is location. Gitana is around kilometre 73–74, while La Femme is based in New Alamein. Al Yashmak, Eve, and Hot Pink are associated with Marina, Sidi Abdel Rahman, or Amwaj, depending on the beach and branch. Distance can make a big difference during busy summer weekends, so it's worth checking exactly where your chosen beach is before setting off.

The second consideration is the spot's atmosphere. Some women are looking for music, activities, and a lively crowd, while others simply want calm waters and a quiet place to relax. Watching recent videos can help, but a quick phone call to the venue is often the best way to confirm what to expect before planning your day.
