1980: Indulge in Torched Goodness
If you are one of those people who love creamy delights, this one is for you. Bask in the warmth of 1980’s signature lattes but with a very welcome twist: it is topped with a scoop of crème brûlée, torched to perfection. As you crack open the caramelised top of the drink, you will feel all your stress melt away exactly as the crème melts in your mouth.
Fou by Farah: Creations that Will Blow Your Mind
One of District 5’s best cafes, Fou by Farah, is starting the winter season strong with six new creations. The base for each one is a warm cup of their signature premium dark Swiss chocolate. The first version has the cup rim lined with marshmallow fluff, then torched to create the perfect meringue texture; the second is chock-full of marshmallows.
The third is topped with crushed oatmeal cookies. However, if you like ice cream in the cold, they have an affogato. The final two creations are hot chocolate bombs: one with pistachios and the other with hazelnuts. It’s safe to say that whatever you’re craving, you can find it at Fou.
Bubble Hope: Coming in Strong
Bubble Hope is one of the newer cafes on the list, but that doesn't mean it should be taken for granted. They are offering warm-up creations like pumpkin spice lattes, peanut butter lattes, and almond lattes. They are also introducing three new hot chocolate creations: KitKat choco cup, M&M's choco cup, and marshmallow chips cup.
Beano's: Still a Favourite
Being a top choice for cafe lovers for years isn't easy, but Beano's does it with ease. They actually make an effort, as they are introducing new menu items this winter. Hot and iced salted vanilla matcha, hot and iced winter spiced latte, and hot and iced tahini latte.
SAINTS: It's a Date!
For those of you who can't seem to get a date, SAINTS has got you covered. With their new, limited-edition Medjool latte. A rich blend of dates, honey, and cinnamon. Something that will have you bursting with energy and radiating warmth.
