The Red Sea Film Festival

The Second Edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival was hosted in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from December 1st to 10th, organised by the Red Sea Film Festival Foundation, a non-profit cultural organisation. The event showcased every cinematic talent in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world, with 131 featured films from 61 countries in 41 languages.

The Red Sea Film Festival highlights the independent movies made by the growing number of directors and actors of the Arab world and, more obviously, Saudi Arabian films, as we don’t get much exposure to their impressive talents. In addition, international stars and directors are invited to the festival to witness the inspiring and beautifully produced Arab films.
