Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Khaled Al-Anani, sent a heartful message to people all over the world, calling them to stay safe and stay home.
In his message, Al-Anani mentioned that Egypt has implemented stringent measures to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. He also added that the ministry is relentlessly sterilising Egypt’s touristic attractions, including hotels, restaurants, archaeological sites, museums, boats, and more. These efforts come as part of the ministry’s preparations to receiving tourists, indicating that after the pandemic comes to an end and it’s safe to travel again, Egypt’s attractions will have its doors wide open, welcoming eager visitors.
Ending his message, Al-Anani urged people to take care of themselves and their loved ones by staying home in hopes of defeating the virus. Meanwhile, tourists, and Egyptians alike, can experience the magnificence of Egypt from the comfort of their homes thanks to the ministry’s recently-launched VR tours.
