As always, we like being the bearers of good news, and today, we’re here with a not so new love story that we’ll be obsessing over for a while. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then you probably know that Jennifer, the daughter of the founder of Microsoft and American billionaire Bill Gates, has an Egyptian bae called Nayel Nassar. What’s new is that the Egyptian showjumper got down on one knee and Jenn SAID YES!

We know you find this exciting, we do too! And that’s why we decided to dig into this to find out more about their relationship; when did it start, how, and most importantly, who is Nayel Nassar?

Born on the 21st of January 1991, in Chigaco, to Egyptian parents, Nayel moved to Kuwait when he was five, and grew up there.

In 2009, Nassar decided to move to California to study economics and management at Stanford University, and graduated in 2013. Other than his impressive educational background, the Egyptian heart-throb is fluent in four languages; Arabic, English, French, and German.

Nassar practised many sports since the age of five; including horseriding, football, and basketball. At the age of 10, he decided to focus on horseriding, and here he is now, one of the most prominent champions in this sport. He participates in many international competitions, and proudly has lots of prizes and medals under his belt.

Going back to our new favourite love story, We can say that sharing the passion for horseriding is, probably, one of the most important reasons why these two became attracted to each other.

Nayel and Jennifer have surely garnered the attention of Egyptians and Arabs on social media since the two of them started dating. We’re not sure when this relationship started exactly, but they started making public appearances together in early 2017. Their pictures on Instagram, especially those taken of them globetrotting together, like the ones at the pyramids, were the talk of the town.
