It’s common for those who are born in an artistic home to grow up to become artists themselves. That’s why it was no surprise that Dania El Hariry, the daughter of the international DJ Yasser El Hariry, has turned to music as a passion.
In January 2018, Dania posted her very first video on Instagram, in which she sang Meen Fena, by Assala and Mohamed El Sharnouby. The video garnered around 10,000 likes and 100 comments filled with positive, encouraging statements, pushing her to post more.
The rising singer continued posting English and Arabic song covers, which lead to the growth of her popularity. Her videos garnered thousands of views, and her Instagram followers increased to 58,000.
In March 2019, Dania was featured in rising rapper Mahmoud Faysal’s song, Ser, which was considered to be her debut original song.
Dania is also a massive fan of the megastar Tamer Hosny. A big moment for her was when he gave her the mic at one of his concerts and she started singing a part of his song, Kefayak A’zar.
Besides singing, Dania works as an event planner. She was the one behind Mohamed Nour and Oka w Ortega’s concert in Helnan Landmark, New Cairo, which was a huge success.
