About a month ago, Sharmoofers and Red Bull came together once again to bring joy to Egyptian university students. To announce a one-of-a-kind tour around the universities, the band dropped a super catchy song and music video that was so relatable to every single uni-goer out there. We have to say, 3ayez Akhalas Gam3a was stuck on replay for the entire month of October.

Around 100,000 Sharmoofans from eight universities in five cities were lucky enough to have their favourite band drop by. Sharmoofers visited the British University in Egypt (BUE), Misr University For Science and Technology (MUST), Misr International University (MIU), Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST), Helwan University, Zagazig University, and finally, Ain Shams University.

Ever since forming back in 2012, the band and their music have evolved noticeably and have definitely grown in popularity. In other words, there’s no one in this country that wouldn’t dance to a Sharmoofers song. So, kudos to Bob, Moe, and the rest of the band for uniting Egyptians; whether university students, party animals, or wedding-goers, with your music.

It’s worth mentioning that Sharmoofers recently won the Best International Group award at the 2019 Boisdale Music Awards and will be performing later this month at Dubai’s Why Not! Mazzika Music Festival.
