Ever since it first aired back in 2012, it has achieved massive success. With each new season, the show has grown in popularity. Yes, we’re talking about Hekayat Banat.

After the success of the first three series of the famed TV show, producer Tarek El Ganainy decided to renew it for two more instalments. The shooting of the long-awaited series has already begun; however, the new episodes will have an entirely different cast! Rising actresses, Mirna Nour El-Din, Hend Abdel Halim, Hager Ahmed, and Asmaa Galal play the lastest group of girlfriends.

The first season of Hekayat Banat (2012) initially starred Saba Mubarak, Houria Farghali, Dina El Sherbiny, and Reham Ayman as the main characters. The cast also included Ramsi Lehner, Karim Fahmy, Ragaa El Geddawy, Maha Abu Auf, and Amr Saleh. The series was written by Baher Dowidar and directed by Hussein Shawkat.

After its success, the second and third parts followed in 2017 with some changes in the cast, as Nada Moussa and Ingy El Mokaddem replaced Farghaly and Ayman.

The fourth and fifth series of Hekayat Banat are written by Nihal Samaha, Marian Magdy, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, and Ahmed Badr, and will be directed by Mostafa Abu Seif.

As for when to expect the outcome, some sources have claimed that the series will be aired right before the Ramadan season, while others claimed that it’ll be released during the holy month. However, the production company still hasn’t made any official announcement regarding the final release date yet.

Mirna Nour El-Din and Asmaa Galal are currently shooting their roles in the upcoming series B Khat El Eid, alongside the star Ahmed Rizk. Meanwhile, Hager Ahmed continues to film her scenes in the series El Akh El Kebeer, alongside Mohamed Ragab. As for Hind Abdel Halim, her latest work was Zodiac, a TV series, directed Mahmoud Kamel, that was released back in Ramadan 2019.
