This Eid holiday is going to be a long one, that’s why we need a plan. As we all know, Eid means more outings, especially if you’re stuck in Cairo. Cinemas have got our backs covered with some cool, long-awaited films. Here’s what you should be expecting.

فيلم خيال مأته - العيد الكبير ٢٠١٩ - اتمني من كل قلبي انه يعجبكوا - يارب

A post shared by Ahmed Helmy (@ahmedhelmy) on

We’ve definitely missed Ahmed Helmy, and having him this Eid makes us happier. This film is a full package, studded with our favourite actors like Menna Shalaby, Khaled El Sawy, Bayoumi Fouad, and Lotfy Labib. The cast indicates lots and lots of laughing. The film was written by the renowned Abd El Rehim Kamal, and directed by Khaled Mare’y.

El Kenz 2

We’ve been waiting for this sequel since forever, and now it’s finally here. The first part totally wowed us with everything; the costumes, the acting, the art direction, everything. However, the story had some plot holes that we’re hoping won’t be in part two. The director is none other than Sherif Arafa, and the cast includes Ahmed Rizk, Mohamed Saad, Hend Sabry, Mohamed Ramadan, Ahmed Hatem, Hany Adel, and Amina Khalil. Fingers crossed it will exceed our expectations.

Welad Rizk 2

Ever since the first trailer was released on the 23rd of July, fans have been going crazy, counting down the days to watch it. Osood El Ard are back with double the trouble. It seems that Tarek El Erian plans to hit the next level with this one. We can’t wait to see it!

Check out our expectations for the sequel here. We’re on a hot date with Ahmed El Saadany, Ahmed El Fishawy, Amr Youssef, and Ahmed Dawood.

El Feel El Azraa 2

The minute this sequel hit the movie theatres it broke the record with over EGP 33,494,000 worth of revenue. It surely brought back our Egyptian cinematic legacy. You don’t have to weep if you haven’t seen it yet; you can still catch it at the theatres during Eid. Check out our expectations for the sequel here.

El Felos

We’ ve seen the trailer and, well, we’re expecting an action film, but hopefully not another cliché. The film stars Tamer Hosny, Zeina Reda, and Aisha Bin Ahmed.
