Every year, the Embassy of India in Egypt blesses us with one of the most vibrant events that take place here, and finally, the time has come for the 8th edition of India by the Nile. Taking place in multiple Egyptian cities, including Cairo, Alexandria, Port Said, and Fayoum, the festival will kick off on the 4th of March.

The best way to describe India by the Nile is that it brings the true essence of the Asian heaven on earth all the way to Egypt. The event celebrates the vibrant culture of India by presenting classical music, dance, theatre, visual arts, film, food, and even sports. Ever since it was first initiated, over the years, the festival has witnessed the presence of prominent figures; such as Amitabh Bachan, Javed Akhtar, and Shabana Azmi.

The diverse program boasts a variety of things to present, including folk music, yoga, street art, and much more. Lucky for you, we got our hands on India by the Nile 2020’s full schedule, so make sure to check it out below in order not to miss out.
