The young actor, Ahmed Malek has announced, through his Facebook account that he has been chosen to be a part of TIFF’s (Toronto International Film Festival) Rising Stars Program for this year!

Malek was one of the four international actors to have been selected to take part in this program.

The film Sheikh Jackson marked Malek’s debut appearance on the TIFF screen. This time around, Malek’s participation in Ahmad Abdalla’s Contemporary World Cinema titled, Exterior Night, has allotted him the opportunity to join this prestigious program.

The festival starts on the 6^th of September and ends on the 16^thof September, and we’re super excited to witness Malek making us proud!
