After an intense final game last night at Borg El Arab stadium, Zamalek SC beat Pyramids FC with a score of 3-0. Consequently, Zamalek was named the winner of the Egypt Cup for the second year in a row.

Shikabala scored the first goal in the 52nd minute, while Bencharki scored the other two in the 63rd and 83rd minutes respectively. With this win, Zamalek claimed its sixth Egypt Cup in the last seven seasons.

Meanwhile, the Egypt Cup might have come to an end, but the football isn’t over yet. As the winner of the Egyptian League, Al Ahly will play Zamalek for the Egyptian Super Cup on the 18th of September.
