trophy (but unfortunately not the coveted Ballon d’Or). Instead, Mo picked up the Golden Foot, an
award granted by the French Principality of Monaco to the greatest players in the world who are over
twenty-eight years old, relying on votes of fans worldwide. As an inspiring champ, he never fails to make
us proud with his constant achievements in the football world and even outside of it.

More importantly, the moment that captured our hearts was when Salah’s name was called to receive
the trophy. Instead of taking the stage himself, Salah let his supportive wife, Magi Sadeq, climb the steps
and enjoy a moment of heartfelt appreciation from everyone. She stood there, holding her loving
husband’s well-deserved trophy proudly yet unpretentiously, which was a profound moment for us all.
