Today, Thursday the 7th of November, 2019, the entire country woke up to the tragic news of actor Haitham Ahmed Zaki’s unexpected death. At the age of 35, the son of late, acclaimed actors Ahmed Zaki and Hala Fouad, was found dead in his apartment in Sheikh Zayed. The cause of death is thought to be a sudden circulatory collapse.

Born into an artistic family, Zaki’s career took off in 2006 as he completed the role of Abdelhalim Hafez; the role his father was playing at the time of his death. After his role in Halim, he then built an acting career, adding a long list of films and TV series to his portfolio that we’ll remember forever. Those include El Belyatsho, Kaff El Kamar, El Saba3 Wasaya, Sukkar Mor, El Kenz 1 and 2, and Dawaran Shubra, for which he won the Best Egyptian Actor Award.
