It wouldn’t be considered a proper royal wedding without invitations extended to the world’s monarchs and other esteemed figures. Over 140 notable guests were in attendance, including British Monarchs Prince William and Kate Middleton, Jill Biden, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, and Princess Beatrice of Britain. Of course, all royal guests were tastefully dressed in elegant and modest attire, paying homage to the customs and traditions of the Arab country.

But let’s discuss the stunning wedding dress worn by the new princess. Revealed as Princess Rajwa walked down the aisle alongside the prince’s younger brother Hashem, the custom-made asymmetrical gown, hand-crafted by Lebanese designer Ellie Saab, was both modest and beautiful. Its simplicity was a pleasant surprise embraced by many captivated by its elegance. Queen Rania also looked graceful and distinguished in a custom-made black Dior dress with gold embroidery that enhanced her beauty even further.

The wedding ceremony held at the Zahran Palace in Jordan was enchanting to follow live. But the festivities didn’t start there; Queen Rania hosted a traditional henna party to celebrate the bride-to-be and the female guests of the wedding. She also delivered a memorable, heartfelt speech to welcome Rajwa into the family during the Arab pre-wedding event. A dinner party was also held the night before the wedding, beautifully showcasing the rich culture of Jordan’s Hashemite Arab rulers to the high-ranking attendees.

The couple continued to honour traditional Jordanian customs throughout the wedding, creating an elegant yet luxurious atmosphere to celebrate their love. In line with typical Arab marriage customs, they signed marriage contracts with their fathers as two witnesses, and their ceremony was overseen by a Sheikh, namely, Sheikh Ahmed Al Khalayla, who guided the prince and princess in reading the Fatiha verse from the Quran before exchanging rings.

We enjoyed watching them rejoice like any other Jordanian/Saudi couple, with lively performances and talented artists singing throughout the charming ceremony to keep guests entertained. The reception held in Al Husseiniya Palace was even more sophisticated, with the princess changing into another breathtakingly beautiful white floral decorated gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana and the crown prince looking handsome as ever in his black, white, and red military regalia festooned with gold embellishments. It was a beautiful celebration of love and union that we will cherish for a long time.
