In 2010, Hend Sabri blessed us with the comic masterpiece that was “Aiza Atgawez”, and we thought that this is where the bliss stopped. But, thankfully, it didn’t.
Twelve whole years later, Netflix snatched up the series to give it a much-anticipated sequel. With all honesty, we couldn’t be more grateful that the saga of Ola Abdel-Sabor will continue for more episodes of entertaining life lessons for us!
What did we deeply love about Aiza Atgawez?
Before we look to the future, we have to quickly glance at the past. Aiza Atgawez was a satirical gem that we couldn’t get enough of!
Not only did we get to enjoy the presence of many guest stars being HILARIOUS, we also learnt a great deal about Saloonat marriage problems. Of course, it goes without saying that the series is now an Egyptian classic that became a never-ending supply to memes!
The family drama was insanely relatable sometimes. Honestly, the brother/sister fights and nosy moments were on point. And most importantly, whose mother doesn’t occasionally turn into Soheer? No one’s safe!

What does the trailer of Finding Ola indicate?
Even though we spent the entirety of Aiza Atgawez hunting for Ola’s perfect man, this new trailer sadly gave us a clear picture of Ola and her husband getting a divorce, for reasons we still can’t fathom.
But we will get it all figured out on the 3rd of February, which makes our wait all the more intense. After all, how sad is it that after 30 episodes of bad potential husbands, it all goes awry?
However, the rest of the trailer implies that “Finding Ola” is more about soul-searching and finding one’s true self. It’s not literally looking for Ola.
So, now we know that Hend Sabri is going on a journey where she will learn more about herself beyond her relationship. Impressed by this unusual turn? We are too!
