The first season of Emily In Paris gave us some good drama and ended with a fierce cliff hanger, but is season 2 any different from season 1? Is Emily any different from the past season, which was LOADED with dramatic incidents or is she the same person?

Pitching great ideas for Savior while managing her Instagram account is hard for Emily but juggling her friendships and love life with them is definitely more intense, if you think about it. Especially when it’s as messy as Emily’s social life.

We do have a couple of thoughts to share with you upon seeing the first 2 episodes, so here are the pros and cons of Emily In Paris:

Cons:

French Language

We understand how difficult learning a new language can be but does Emily really not care about improving her French a little bit since she’s been living in Paris for this long?

Picking up the right accent is pretty difficult but having a background of how words are pronounced is a must, don’t you think? Especially with the French and how strict they are about saying the correct words.

The Never-Changing Plot

We know how Emily got by in the first season by being a little impulsive with her decisions when it came to Savoir but didn’t she pick up and thing or two after every time she messes up a campaign?

Maybe she does save it in the end like always, but, unfortunately, we don’t see any improvement in this season regarding her way of work and handling things.

Emily’s Love Life

Saving the best for last, Emily’s Love Life! Something that keeps getting more chaotic by the minute, jumping from one guy to the other is not a new thing when it comes to Emily. Even though Camille is one of her close friends, she backstabbed her and spent a night with Gabriel while dating Mathieu Cadault... selfish much?

Pros:

The French Actors

When we say we are IMPRESSED with the French actors, you have to take our word for it. The actors being comfortable in their own language, in their own culture and in their roles is mesmerizing because French is such a strong language that they make it look so easy which is giving the perfect Parisien vibe!

The Cinematography

Even if you’ve never been to France, the cinematography of this show is beyond our imagination and certainly shows the good parts of France! It captured the perfect shots of beautiful Paris by day and by night as well as the mesmerizing St. Tropez, which makes us obsess more over the City of Love. From the little cafes to the fancy restaurants in front of La Tour Eiffel, we loved them all.

The Fashion

France may be the City of Love but its also the City of extraordinary Fashion icons and brands. The outfits of the cast –men and women— this season, are surely elevated. They are way better, way colorful and obviously Tres Chic!
