From the first time we watched Rivo, we knew it would be a hit. The show captures the essence of the ’90s, from the music to the fashion, bringing back memories for all who grew up in that era. In line with its funky and groovy tone, the WATCH IT series has brought back the same sense of nostalgia with just a few episodes in its second season. Take a look at what you can expect in the exciting new season of the show that transformed from being seen as average to becoming a fan favourite!

This Season’s Plot

At the start of the new season, the band doesn’t appear to have experienced much change since the previous season, which ended in an ambiguous final scene that left us without the information we so desperately wanted.

With only two episodes released, the plot of Rivo’s second season is still a mystery. We follow the characters as they navigate life after their fame has faded and how they find a new opportunity in El Agamy. In the latest episode, we witness the appearance of Hassan Fakhr Eldin on our screens and his connection to the band. We don’t know what’s in store for these musicians, but we hope to see them climb the ladder to fame once again!

Our Review

We may need more episodes to give a full review of this series, but we are enjoying learning more about each character and their individual stories. Although the storyline remains to be seen, the fashion and decor in the series continue to be impeccably on trend, and we can’t help but admire the stunning ’90s aesthetic.

We’re eagerly anticipating learning more about Rivo, the band featured this season, as well as whether Mariam Fakhr Eldin will finally complete her father’s unfinished film. We’ll certainly continue to watch the series as WATCH IT releases one episode at a time, and we recommend you do, too!
