With Money Heist releasing its fifth and final season (and everyone immediately binge-watching it), we know that we’re certainly going to miss the series. We’ll also miss the casual charm of the Spanish language, whether the characters were fighting or otherwise.
Let’s track back a little to 2017 when the first episode of Money Heist was released on Netflix. Sure, it feels like a long, long time ago but is that because of how many years have passed or some of our favourite characters are no longer with us? We know you’re going to miss them as much as we will, which is why we’re about to tell you what our lovable gang members have been doing outside the Royal Mint of Spain!
El Professor
Gaining worldwide recognition after his role as El Professor, Álvaro Morte has been wowing us in other roles. As we dug deep into his career, we discovered that he had played a role in a drama series called The Pier, two years after the first season of Money Heist. The Pier is about a woman who discovers that her late husband led a double life. We know you’re as curious as we are—just how can El Professor be that type of person?

Tokyo
One of the first women in the gang and the narrator of the series, Tokyo has been gaining recognition for her boyish haircut! We’re only kidding, of course, but besides her acting skills, it seems that when most people hear the name ‘Tokyo’, they remember Úrsula Corberó’s beautiful face along with her short hair and her strong personality.
If you’re eager to see more of her roles as a strong woman, you should definitely watch the action-adventure film Snake Eyes. Ironically, the events take place in Japan. Does that remind you of something? Tokyo, Japan, perhaps?

Berlin
You know what was missing in the third season of Money Heist? Berlin, with his charm that most of us loved and enjoyed watching. Although you probably have a love-hate relationship with his character, you can’t help but lean towards feelings of love, we’re sure.
Like most of the actors here, Pedro Alonso gained worldwide recognition for Money Heist, yet his role in the Spanish series Grand Hotel was a one-of-a-kind role that we think deserves the same respect. If the name of that series reminded you of anything, it might be Amr Youssef and Amina Khalil’s Ramadan 2016 show Grand Hotel, which is the Egyptian adaptation of the show. What a small world!

Nairobi
Who didn’t cry after the death of the fierce Nairobi? A strong woman with a tender heart, the character cemented her place in our hearts. After Money Heist’s season three finale, behind-the-scenes videos spread online as the cast members cried at Alba Flores leaving the show. It felt like a farewell, but if you miss Alba so much, you can still see her on the female-led Spanish series Locked Up on Netflix, where she is joined by her Money Heist co-star Najwa Nimri, who played Alicia Sierra.

Denver
We bet you heard his laugh as you read his name! We’re happy Denver stayed with us until the very end, as he stole our hearts with his amazing relationship with his father, Moscow, who died in season one. He never stopped stealing our hearts, as he did it again when he and the curly-haired Monica started dating on the show.
If you’re ready to hear more of his quirky laughs, Denver’s real name is Jaime Lorente, and he’s been impressing the world with his talent in Spanish shows and movies, such as Elite and Gun City.

It looks like the Spanish drama has been being invaded with the Money Heist talents ever since the show’s first season! So tell us, as you remember your favourite scenes from the series, who’s your most-loved character?
