Expected to be released on Netflix, consisting of just eight episodes although it was initially expected to be part of the Ramadan 2025 lineup, the production has been delayed following the departure of director Karim El-Shenawy.

Based on Mirna El Helbawy's novel of the same name, Kundalini is another film starring Menna Shalaby alongside Dhafer L'Abidine.
