Bahebak

This romantic drama-comedy is written and directed by Egyptian musician, songwriter, and actor Tamer Hosny in his first experience behind the camera. It revolves around a love triangle and the main character’s adventures in choosing between his two love interests. Hosny’s leading ladies are Hannah Al Zahed and Huda El Mufti.

‘Amohom

This film stars Egyptian actors Mohamed Imam, Huda El Mufti, Ayten Amer, and Sayed Ragab as a ragtag team of sultans, boxers, and trainers who accidentally uncover a printing station for counterfeiting dollars bills in Egypt. Naturally, this leads our characters on an unexpected adventure.

Tasleem Ahaly

This comedy, which stars actor and singer Donia Samir Ghanem and Hisham Maged, revolves around a couple whose lives are turned upside down when a woman obsessed with Maged’s character begins stalking him, making the couple go on the run. The film also stars Bayomi Fouad and the late Dalal Abd El-Aziz in her final cinematic appearance, which you won’t want to miss.

Kira We El-Ginn

Although this film was released on June 30, it’s considered an Eid Al Adha film. The historical action/thriller is based on Ahmed Mourad’s novel of the same name and centres around the Egyptian resistance against English occupation during the 1919 revolution. It stars Karim Abdelaziz and Ahmed Ezz, as well as Tunisian superstar Hend Sabry.
