Congratulations. You no longer have to resort to punching your pillow when you're angry about a break-up/bad grade/the latest episode of GoT.
Thanks to Concord Plaza's Unleashed, you can now relieve stress by breaking things that aren't your mom's antique heirlooms.
The venue offers set packages ranging from the 150 LE 'Suicide' deal to the 400 LE 'Chuck Norris' set-up. The packages get you 'weapons of destruction', objects to demolish and a room to let 'er rip in. Breakables include glass bottles, pottery, wooden chairs and electronic devices (i.e. TV sets and computers).
According to the founders, "suppressing deeply embedded emotion could have negative consequences on our well-being, as well as the ones around us. Yet we contain it for legal or social constraints." Unleashed claims to offer a space for you to let go of those emotions without being judged or facing consequences.
"It's a really cool place with a really fresh idea," says Randa Heleka, a customer. "It really is good stress relief!"
She added, however, that for the hefty price, more breakables should be included and customers should be able to throw things at the wall-- not just smash them with baseball bats and mallets.
So, paying to smash random objects: Yay or Nay? Let us know in the comments!
