On March 20th, a significant milestone unfolded at the historic Creative Innovation Hub in Dokki. El Rehla, a company fostering connections within Egypt's entrepreneurial ecosystem, unveiled its exciting rebrand as JRNY. This exclusive Ramadan suhour event, co-hosted by Itida and Tiec, served as the launching pad for JRNY's new identity.
A Journey of Collaboration Takes Centre Stage
The evening wasn't just about a new name. El Rehla 's rebrand signifies a renewed focus on the word "Journey," symbolised by their new logo. The dash following the "Y" represents interconnectedness, a powerful message highlighting JRNY's commitment to building collaborative communities.
Over 400 esteemed guests representing diverse sectors, like fintech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship, gathered for the evening. Industry leaders from government bodies like the Ministry of Investment and Cooperation (MoIC) and Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) mingled with representatives from prominent organisations like Amazon, Shorooq Capital, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
JRNY's CEO, Dalia Said, presented a retrospective on the company's impressive decade-long journey. With over 170 projects completed and a focus on serving 70 distinct clients, JRNY has established itself as a leader in fostering dialogue, connections, and peer learning experiences within Egypt's entrepreneurial landscape. Their three core services – Industry Track, Corporate Track, and Founders Track – all contribute to their mission of achieving sustainable impact.
Celebrating Women Leaders and Social Responsibility
The event wasn't just about business. JRNY took the opportunity to celebrate the women leading the company forward, including Head of Operations, Sara Ibrahim; Head of Programs and Partnerships, Nadine Abukhadra; and Head of People and Culture, Amal Negm.
