If your favourite season is spring or autumn, consider yourself lucky. Seriously. You’ve saved yourself from people mocking or judging you for picking summer or winter.
And while we understand how some people might hate summer with a passion or are viciously against the idea of winter, why don’t we examine the reasons behind why people appreciate both seasons? Once that’s done, we’ll also discuss a little theory about why some people are inclined to like particular seasons.

Why Do People Love Summer/Winter
You usually get stereotypical answers whenever you ask someone about their preference for either one of the two seasons we’re talking about. For example, summer lovers say that they can wear lighter fabrics in the summer and fight the heat through ACs and fans. Winter lovers, on the other hand, love the cold and love the fact that they have to dress warm and drink hot beverages.

However, we think there’s more to it. For example, some people say you tend to like the season that you have a lot of good memories about as a child, but we think there’s another theory worth examining.
Summer Babies Tend To Love The Summer More
While this isn’t exactly a studied theory, it’s common to find that most people born in the summer tend to love it more than they love winter. Maybe it’s because of their birthdays being in the summer; maybe it’s because of the bright sun always constantly shining on (and nearly burning) us—we just can’t explain it!
What we are going to say, though, is that the summer usually reminds its lovers of good things, like days at the beach, long mornings and lighter fabrics—all the things they miss during the winter.

Winter Babies Usually Love Winter More
Yes, you’ve seen it coming because you read the first part of this theory, but if you’re a winter love AND you’re born in winter, you’ll surely relate. With winters comprising of cooler air, semi-gloomy skies, and wardrobe options that are ten times fancier than summer clothes, it’s not hard to see why those who love the winter admire it the way they do.
And, of course, we can’t ignore the major reason why most winter lovers actually love the winter: They’d rather get cold and layer up than sweat and suffer through the heat!
