We hate to sound like bitter old fogies, but the nightlife-isation of the North Coast, the increasing number of unauthentic, artificial compounds and the general cult of 'Sahel Season' have washed over what a truly magnificent stretch of sea and sand it really is - as this video posted on Vimeo by Sherif Samy today proves.

Showing Sahel from a 'different angle', the video seems to have been shot with a drone and captures some breathtaking views of the area's sandy beaches and gorgeous azure blue and turquoise waters.  Enjoy.
