As one of the newest - and most extravagant - hotels in Egypt, Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski is celebrating its first Christmas in Cairo in style.
Having kicked things off earlier this month with a lavish Christmas tree lighting, the New Cairo hotel is marking both Christmas eve and Christmas day with some hearty festive feasts. On Christmas eve, the State is hosting what looks like a seafood buffet of the grandest order to the sounds of a live jazz band for 430LE per person. Meanwhile, things go from seafood to Italian, as Lucca also hosts a special five-course set menu dinner at 580LE per person.
Things only get more festive on Christmas day with a special Christmas brunch at the State for 430LE per person, where you'll also find live music and plenty of kids' activities, while Lucca hosts another five-course set menu dinner later in the evening for 580LE per person. The Christmas cheer continues on Boxing Day (26th), too, with Santa making another appearance, where the little kiddies can grab a photo, maybe even a selfie, with the jolly fellow while munching on some Christmas cookies.
Having officially opened in November of this year, the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski arrived in Cairo to rave reviews and has already hosted some rather big events in its short lifetime, while also making its case for being a veritable foodie paradise thanks to restaurants such as Yanna and Romanov emerging as some of the best high-end restaurants in the city.
