If you know Hesham Nazih, then you know he’s one of Egypt’s best composers who recently made history as the first Egyptian composer to be nominated for an Emmy Award for his work on Marvel’s Moon Knight.

However, you definitely know who he is from his many contributions to Egyptian entertainment in works like El Selem Wel Te’ban and El-Saba’ Wasaya (among others), and how he used his exceptional talent in employing instruments and themes from different cultural backgrounds!

1-     El Feel El Azraq (2014)

Remember when we all rushed to the cinema to watch the first El Feel El Azraq movie and how mind-blown we were by the outstanding bohemian music playing in the background? Yes, that masterpiece soundtrack was composed by none other than Hesham Nazih! It’s one of the best things about that movie and will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

2-     Welad Rizk (2015)

Whenever the Welad Rizk boys were about to get in trouble, we could tell by how the music changed into something fast-paced and exciting that instantly got us in the mood for action. Yup, that’s Hesham Nazih! Who didn’t get excited when hearing that music in Welad Rizk?

3-     Bolbol Hyran (2010)

In this movie, we all watched Bolbol lose his memory, struggling to piece the information to find out what happened to him. And while all those events unfolded, we always noticed how memorable the background music was. Composed by Hesham Nazih, this music felt like it belonged in an animation movie, and we mean that in the best way. After all, it did go great with this hit comedy!

4-     Tito (2004)

Easily one of Egypt’s best action-drama movies, Tito has a soundtrack that we simply can’t get over! In this iconic OST, we also had one of Hesham Nazhih’s most chilling compositions. Honestly, all Nazih needed to do was work some of his magic…which he did, essentially making the movie unforgettable.

5-     Sahar El-Layaly (2003)

In Sahar El-Layaly, we heard music that sets the tone for the confrontations and conflicts within the central group of friends, and we were always amazed by it. So, it’s no wonder this movie’s soundtrack was composed by Hesham Nazih! Although some didn’t realize how good the music was then, even they can’t deny that it grew on them.
