In addition, online options for treatment are even available. Thankfully, this is a great improvement from where we were a few years ago.

Shezlong is the first online platform in Egypt and the Middle East to offer online therapy sessions, aiding those with hectic lives or those who have difficulty attending one-on-one sessions. Furthermore, the platform does not stop there. Its official YouTube channel posts videos by the platforms’ therapists talking about mental health awareness and debunking myths about mental health and therapy.

4-     Dr Mahmoud El-Wasify: A Psychologist for Both Adults and Children

Being a leading professional in the field of psychology, Dr Mahmoud El-Wasefy offers an insightful YouTube channel dedicated to the purpose of removing the stigma of mental illness and seeking therapy. He hosts a series of short videos that, in simple terms, teach us a lot about the different types of mental illnesses and treatments available for both adults and children.
