If your coffee-addict friend came dressed in a zombie costume, what would you tell him? Probably, looking good mate! That’s probably because you have seen the real zombie that they are when they aren’t high on their morning, afternoon, or evening coffee. Well, it wouldn’t be a surprise when you hear that Egypt has consumed 45,000 tonnes of coffee during the first half of 2018. But the ones who topped the world’s coffee consumption list were Finland, followed by Norway, and then Denmark.
As reported on thedailynewsegypt.com (DNE), the Coffee Division at Cairo’s Chamber of Commerce said that Egypt’s consumption of coffee climbed 30% in six months compared to 40,000 tonnes in 2017. Let’s just hope that our importers keep getting the good stuff to the capital.
