It's the last weekend of August - sigh - and summer is slowly but surely slipping away, like an empty Stella can along the beaches of the North Coast. Incredibly deep, poetic imagery aside, this weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest of Sahel season 2014, with 6IX Degrees and the Lemon Tree & Co. among the hotspots hosting parties.

I won't lie to you; if you haven't secured your place at Beach Bang by now, it's probably too late and shame on you. With Ahmet Kilic, Greek duo, Heavy Pins, and the always excellent Mohasseb on the line-up, this is the party of the weekend, bar none.

The Marassi branch of the Lemon Tree & Co. has been receiving mixed reviews as of late, but has emerged as one of the most popular clubs in Sahel this summer. Pacha Ibiza resident, Orio Calvo, kicks off another busy weekend.

Speaking of Ibiza, I have a friend who caught an STD at a foam party; I think we can surmise what it was that he was doing. The point is, don;t have sex at Rio Beach Club's foam party.  Unless he/she is really hot.

The best things really do come in two and the only thing better than one party is two parties. This weekend, 6IX Degrees at Hacienda Bay will be obliging with exactly that for their closing events.

One for the ladies - and any guys that are that way inclined; the Lemon Tree & Co. is teaming up with Kriss Beauty Salons for a night that will bring together fashion, art, hairstyling and - of course - drinking into one neat, little, lemon-scented package.
