We hope you'll excuse this week's very scant edition of Things to Do, because there just aren't many things to do. With only four days left until Ramadan, Cairo nightlife is all but dead - so make it worth it. A really special commendation has to go out to Cairo's most consistent nightspot, Cairo Jazz Club, who - right until the very end - are going hard every night. Shout out to the Tap, too. And Riverside. Ok, that's it. Commence skim-reading.

MINUS T @ THE TAP
(Sunday)

The Tap regular, Minus T, is back again after an outrageous hiatus (doesn't he know he has fans?). Head down and see the man we deem 'the most versatile DJ in Cairo' flex his musical biceps.

ELEONORA IANNOTA @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
(Sunday)

Soulful singer and honorary Egyptian, Eleonora Iannota, takes centre stage at Cairo Jazz Club with her musical accompaniments in tow. Quick, semi-interesting fact; Eleonora is the name of one of Edgar Allan Poe's 'happier' short stories. We said 'semi-interesting- to be fair.

JAZZING BY THE RIVER FT AHMED HARFOUSH @ RIVERSIDE
(Monday)

Cairo's coolest crooning cat, Ahmed Harfoush, is one hand once again this week, as Zamalek's Riverside welcomes the jazz singer for a night of classics. Try not to look him the eyes - you'll get lost in them.

MOHASSEB @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
(Monday)

Your last dose of deep-tech and progressive house is really not to be missed, as Mohasseb takes to the decks at Cairo Jazz Club and bids a temporary farewell to the khabt that has quickly become Cairo's nightlife staple.

A.K. @ CAIRO JAZZ CLUB
(Tuesday)

We can only assume that Cairo Jazz Club have saved the best for last. Hip-hop don, DJ A.K  will be positioning us firmly on the dance-floor as we tucker ourselves out dancing and grinding like it's Prom Season 2011 all over again.
