As Ramadan begins to wind down, it is the perfect time to rewind and revisit some of the ads that captured everyone’s attention this season. Everyone looks forward to Ramadan with all its blessings, time spent with family, and entertainment. Every year sparks a debate about which series was the best, but Ramadan ads have also become a beloved tradition. This year’s ads are a perfect mix of fun and nostalgia. Here are a few of the best ones this Ramadan.
Wadi Degla

This is the one everyone is talking about this year. It’s relatable, it’s catchy, and it’s full of meme material. The combination of Maged El-Kidwani’s fatherly voice and Essam Omar’s flawless comedic acting made for the perfect duo. Everyone loves this one, young and old, because even though it’s targeted at “mawalid 80”, everyone can relate to it and find it funny.
Banque Misr

As usual, Banque Misr ads make you feel like you can achieve anything. Full of uplifting music, a sense of nostalgia, and the genius mix of El Esseily and Bahaa Sultan’s voices, this year’s ad is a celebration of every Egyptian street and the countless memories each one holds. It celebrates our roots and reminds us of our own strength.
Vodafone

This year, Vodafone took the “2026 is 2016” trend a step further, taking us back to 2015. Their ad is reminiscent of the 2015 campaign, where friends and family call each other to spend time together. It’s highly nostalgic, especially with Abla Kamel’s surprise comeback, which warmed our hearts after many years of absence.
Remas Land

This ad is a fun spin on overreacting to a small inconvenience, like going to the supermarket and not finding your favourite cheese. There are two versions of the ad: one sung by Haitham Shaker and the other by Jannat. Both are incredibly catchy and speak to the melodrama inside each of us, because sometimes we’re just one inconvenience away from a total crash-out.
Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation

Heartwarming ads every year, and this year is no different. Hussein Al Jasmi’s voice pulls at the heartstrings in this one, telling the story of millions of children who wish for a normal childhood where they can play and be healthy. It reminds us to think about people who need our help, especially during the blessed month.
Ramadan is full of traditions, both new and old. Over the years, Ramadan ads have become one of those traditions that people eagerly wait for. Each year brings a new wave of unforgettable campaigns, and this year certainly delivered.
