The CairoComix festival is back with its 8th edition for you and your comic-lover friends to enjoy at Mahmoud Mokhtar Cultural Center in Downtown Cairo.

It will run from the 3rd to the 5th of November, from 3 PM until 8 PM. This year, we will have new guests and activities with three exhibitions to enjoy. There will also be three workshops for you to participate in. So, enough teasing, and let us tell you all about CairoComix’s 8th edition!

All About CairoComix:

They offer comic lovers the opportunity to watch and learn the making of a drawing from the idea to its execution, whether with traditional pens and inks or drawing programs and electronic tablets.

It is organised by Ninth Art and sponsored and supported by huge institutes of languages like the French Institute in Cairo, the Spanish Cooperation in Egypt, the Goethe Institute Cairo, and the Czech Cultural Center in Cairo, in partnership with the Mahmoud Mukhtar Cultural Center and the Fine Arts Sector of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture.

CairoComix 2023:

This year, CairoComix is blessing us with three exhibitions and book signing events by your favourite publishers and artists. The character “Essam” from the comic book “Essam’s Adventures” by artist Camille will be honoured and discussed in CairoComix 2023.

There will also be an exhibition for “Gloria” the comic book by Almundena Pano, and an additional book exhibition by Mohamed Koraytem on Tuesday evening.
