Ashraf El Zamzami's Exuberance Exhibition at Safarkhan Art Gallery

Ashraf El Zamzami, a constant in the world of contemporary art since the early 1990s, has a new show launching at Safarkhan. El Zamzami's work has developed through a number of diverse periods, showing a degree of adaptability that few other artists can match. His most recent paintings are a natural progression of his signature style of unapologetically naïve art, sometimes known as art brut (outsider art), which is founded on nostalgic longing for one's own childhood.

This new set is an even more in-depth exploration of Zamzami's mysterious mind, transporting us to a realm where the carefree abandon of youth reigns supreme. The world is at this elderly man's feet, and his mind is full of the young exuberance of youth. The exhibition is scheduled to close on November 29.
