Recently, in the GIFF opening ceremony of its 6th edition, Egyptian artist Abu performed a heartfelt song, "The World Is Blind", as a tribute and homage to the Gaza crisis and Palestinians.

About The Song

Abu's tribute song has an impact that goes beyond just music. He even sang it in English to show the world and reach a huge global audience. It highlights the suffering and supports the Gazans, and it celebrates perseverance, unity, and optimism amid the Palestinian hardships.

Apart from the song, the artist also paid tribute to Palestinians by wearing a Palestinian Kufiyah underneath his coat, a symbol of solidarity with the people of Palestine during their crisis.

This song shows how Egyptians support the people of Palestine during the ongoing issue. Abu also explained that the Palestinian people are an extension of Egyptian society and how Egyptians are trying their best to end the genocide and fully support them.
