The Second Anniversary @ Riverside

Having sat down with the folks at Riverside at the beginning of the month, there was one topic which dominated our talk - the Zamalek venue's upcoming second anniversary celebrations, which more than lived up to its billing. With a mammoth line-up of entertainment that touched on everything from jazz, to Oriental, to hip-hop, the likes of Bash's Beat and Nesma Mahgoub performed in front of a frenzied crowd with a number of celebrity names, including Naguib Sawiris and Sherine, in attendance. The anniversary marks a long journey for the Riverside of today, which is a far cry from when it first launched - and if our aforementioned talk is anything to go by, there's plenty to look forward to in 2016.
