In Photos: The Legendary Yehya Khalil at Cairo Jazz Club

Can we all just stop cracking that joke about there not being any jazz at Cairo Jazz Club? Feelings get hurt and, more importantly, it's poppycock. Case in point being this last Thursday when the ultimate in jazz, the legendary Yehya Khalil, set up shop for the night with his band, The Egyptian Jazz Project - that's a lot of jazz right there. There was a different kind of vibe at CJC, with a fusion of Oriental sounds and classic jazz - as well as Eleanora Iannotta - making for a unique night of live music.
