After somehow convincing Coolio and Mya to come to Cairo last year, the Supafly team have pulled another rabbit out of the hat as they prepare to welcome Grammy Award-winning rapper, Eve, for a huge event.

Taking place on Friday 12th at the Omar Khayyam Boat in Zamalek, it's shaping up to be a big night for hip-hop fans, with the entertainment line-up also including DJs, A.K., Fat Sam and Ramy DJunkie, as well as Swaggers Crew.

Considered a pioneer in what was a fruitful period for hip-hop and r&b in the late nineties and early 2000s, Eve first found fame in 1999 as the first and only member of hip-hop collective, Ruff Ryders, alongside the likes of DMX and Jadakiss - remember them?

Four studio albums, thirty-two singles and 4 million-plus sales later, Eve is considered one of the most successful female rappers of all-time and has since moved into the world of acting. But as her well-received 2013 album, LipLock - her first in 11 years - proved, she hasn't lost her touch one bit.
