A big and busy week awaits for Cairenes, with a couple of musical imports, the reopening of a Downtown staple and a man named Shawerma standing out across Cairo's bars, clubs and venues - proving once more that Cairo is so where it's at. What that 'it' is exactly, is open to interpretations; but it's better to be any 'it' than without any 'it' at all. Yeah?

Another edition of Cairo Jazz Club's Beats Landing yields another huge booking. This time, one of Cairo's marquee nightlife events welcomes German house and techno connoisseur, Teenage Mutants.

Maybe it's his silky-smooth voice. Or maybe it's the way he wears hats like a total boss. Whatever it is, we can't get enough of seductive crooner, Ahmed Harfoush, and there are few places as befitting as Fairmont Nile City's Saigon.
