Back 2 Basics: Summer Gate 2014 @ Fairmont Nile City

Sahel/Gouna/(insert name of Egyptian coastal region where you're most likely to get laid this summer) season is all but here and the folk at Back 2 Basics bid adieu to Cairo before embarking on sunnier, sandier climates with this year's edition of Summer Gate. The weather was almost unbearable hot on the Fairmont Nile City rooftop, but in true pretentiously promotional style,  I'm going to put that down to the sizzling beats of the cerebral assassin of local DJs, SHawky, and Macedonian disc jockeying veteran, Nikola Nita.
