As the first half of the Ramadan series ends, viewers are left with a mix of emotions; joy, heartbreak, and anticipation. Whether it's the tear-jerking reunion of a family, the bittersweet resolution of long-standing conflicts, or the powerful sense of closure for beloved characters, these series finales have delivered unforgettable moments. In this article, we reflect on the emotional rollercoasters these stories took us on and how each ending leaves a lasting impact. Which finale left you most moved or eagerly awaiting what’s next? Let's find out!
1- Kamel Al-Adad ++
Kamel Al-Adad had managed to capture our hearts with its sweet ending for two years and successfully did so again this year. With a heartwarming family atmosphere, Kamel Al-Adad++ ended its third season, leaving us in tears and seeing the whole family reunited again after Laila was hospitalised.
2- Welad Al-Shams
Welad Al-Shams wrapped up its season with a mix of relief and heartbreak. After weeks of intense conflicts, high-stakes betrayals, and Moftah’s death that shed our tears, the finale gave fans a moment of peace with a reconciliation yet moving.
3- 80 Bako
80 Bako gave us relief with its happy ending for women's stories without the cliché fairytale ending of Cinderella finding its prince charm. With Boussy finding a home, Loula finally finds the circumstances to rest and hands the beauty salon to Boussy, Faten and Abeer, opening their shop; the series closes with these four women finally finding peace.
4- Alby W Moftaho
A love story that had us all rooting for a happy ending, Alby W Moftaho closed its chapter with a moment of pure cinematic beauty. The long-awaited reunion between the two leads finally happened after a long turmoil.
5- Ekhwaty
Ekhwaty has always centred on the idea of sister bonds, and the final episode greatly reinforced that theme. After seasons of turmoil and misunderstandings, the siblings finally stood together in solidarity.
6- Ashghal Sha2a gedan
Ashghal Sha2a Gedan closed with a comedic ending as usual, leaving us with the expectation of a third season (hopefully). With the arrest of Dr Hamdy and Araby, we might have a third season in the Maldives or in jail!
7- El Nos
After a long journey with El Nos’ team fighting the occupation, the series ends with an open ending. Abdelaziz El Nos is kidnapped by two mysterious men, only to find himself confronted by Pasha, played by Mohamed Mamdouh, who reveals to him the secret organisation against the British, united with the Germans and invites him to join it, leaving viewers in a state of light anticipation of what might happen.
