Hassan El Masry is directed by Lebanese director Samir Habashy, who has a long list of movies and shows credits to his name. However, this marks his directorial debut in an Egyptian film. Also debuting her career in writing is Nora Labib, an Egyptian rising actress, in collaboration with Samar Taher.
